This award is a die-struck, alloy based and silver washed construction. The obverse of the badge depicts a Heer open-winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons and is above a bannered "1939". The reverse shows a flat back with all four prongs that remain intact. It has the majority of its silver wash remains intact and it has beautiful detail! Purchased from Vet's immediate family by me.
