Here we have a great die stamped, steel based, silver washed 4 year Luftwaffe long service award. The obverse depicts the standard closed winged eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons, below: "Treue Dienste in der Wehrmacht" (faithful service in the armed units). The reverse depicts a stylized ?4? encircled by a laurel leaf wreath. The silver wash is in nice condition and shines quite nicely in the light! It comes with approximately 7 inches of ribbon. Attached to the blue ribbon is a small, pinned, silver Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings clutching a swastika in its talons. Overall a great piece!
