What a great example of knife engineering! Here we have the 4th Generation, four line, M9 Phrobis III U.S.A. Patent Pending Bayonet. The bayonet includes; the latching mechanism, wire cuter slot, bottle cap opener, and saw. The case includes; the wire cutter plate, sharpening stone, screwdriver tip, & belt fastener. It attaches to AR-15 type guns with the bayonet lug. Overall it is in great condition with little to no wear. It is maker marked on the scabbard as well as the crossguard. Circa 1989-1991. Nice piece!
