Blade is a beauty example with excellent crossgrain, just the lightest age smudge and evidence of a light cleaning, no pitting, sharpening and the original needle-like tip is perfect. The maker mark is stamped in place. An easy NM blade! The black painted scabbard is in good shape! The leather is a firm but supple. The nickel plated steel based hilt and pommel are in beauty condition with 100% of the plating intact over the steel hilt. The black checkered celluloid grip plates are perfect, being crack and chip free. The grip plates show a wee bit of shrinkage and are secured by two nickel rivets. The small early style HJ diamond has a bit of darkening and all the enamel remains intact. A very nice example you will be proud to own!
