A super piece here! The bright blade on this one looks excellent! The crossgrain shines nicely in the light! The dark and crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and double Oval maker mark are beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates a Exc++ There is some minor age and runner marks. The brown anodized scabbard has a nice finish with honest wear I would say 99% of the anodizing remains with no oxidizing. It remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings and crossguards remain in great shape! They have matching patina and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked ?Ns?. The ball has a good hit and is split in the bottom. All four screws remaining intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The hardwood grip looks great! It shows the common pressure marks throughout. No cracks or splits! The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 100% of its enamel!
