A clean example here. The bright blade on this one looks good. The tip has been re-pointed and the edges around it are fairly sharp, the total blade length is 208mm. It has a solid fit, the crossgrain is nicely displayed in the light, and the dark acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and Solingen Daniel Peres marker mark are both beautifully executed! The anodized scabbard has a smooth matte finish, no oxidization spotting and remains completely dent free! From the looks of it appears more black than brown but I believe it's been reblued. The solid nickel scabbard fittings have some scratching throughout, but still look good. The ball has a few minor bruises but still retains its original shape. All of the screws remain intact. The solid nickel crossguards look great. The lower crossguard does have a few minor scratches. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "Wm" (Westmark). The grip looks great! There are a few minor pressure marks, but no chips, cracks or flakes! The solid nickel eagle is nicely detailed with an excellent fit. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A decent example here for the taking!
