A rare maker on this one! Rating 8 out of 10 on McSarrs SA Rarity Ratting. The blade on this one is in good condition. It has spotting throughout. The blade continues to remain bright with a beautiful dark acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and Gust Haker maker mark! The crossgrain continues to look good running the full length of the blade. It has a nice tip and a solid fit! The blade rates Exc+. I believe that the edges have been ever-so-slightly sharpened. The brown anodized scabbard looks good. It has heavy spotting and a pressure mark to the middle. The scabbard fitting look good and have nicely patinaed with age. The ball is completely pushed in and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards match the fitting in color and wear. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Ha" (Hansa). The a is very hard to see. The grip / crossguard fits are great! The brown hardwood grip has many pressure marks throughout and a hairline split to the reverse. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 98% of its enamel!
