Here we have a full back, die struck, alloy based and silver washed, Silver Wound Badge by Rudolf Wachtler & Lange. The oval badge depicts an embossed profile of a swastika, above an M35 pattern helmet, which is again above two crossed broad swords. This then lies on a pebbled field and is surrounded by a laurel leaf and acorn wreath, with a bow tie to the bottom. The catch, hinge and pin are intact and in well-working condition. The catch is marked "100" (by Rudolf Wachtler & Lange) The badge measures 1.75 inches high by 1.5 inches wide. Will make for a good display!
