Curious thing about SA's, in general the big makers, (with the exception of Eickhorn) made few SA's. Not sure why, but I'm sure it has something to do with the NSDAP wanting to put people back to work in 1933 so every Ma and Pa shop got an order! WKC made a nice SA but we do not often see them. Blade is bright example with evidence of a light buffing. Now I have tried to give you the worse views possible, it hand it looks better! No gray, no pitting, no sharpening just some light runner marks. Motto is nice and crisp, some of the burnish is gone but it's still nice and clear. The blade rates an Exc+. Dent-free scabbard-original anodizing is 99% intact with lots of factory lacquer remaining. The fittings show light period wear, the ball is perfect. The fittings are nickel silver retaining all their screws. Solid hardwood handle displays nice grain. No chips, no cracks just normal light marks from period wear. Eagle is perfectly fit with a wee bit of patina. Roundel retains 100% of enamel. The handle shoulders and radii nicely fit the solid nickel guards. The crossguard is stamped "P". Blade is perfectly set into the crossguard. All the patina matches everywhere. All the fits are all there! I see no evidence this has ever been apart
