Canada, WWII - The Lake Superior Regiment Cap Badge. The Lake Superior Regiment was a Canadian Army Reserve infantry regiment based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. A bi-metal construction. The obverse emblem features and intertwined “LSR” surrounded by “The Lake Superior Regiment” underneath a beaver, flanked by maple leaves and above the regiment’s motto: “Inter Pericula Intrepidi” (Fearless Amid Dangers). The semi-hollow back reverse feature two soldered-on loops and a pin. It measures 2 1/8 inches wide by 1 ¾ inches tall. Mazea’s M.143.
