Red Cross EM Visor Cap

A Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Schirmmütze für Mannschaften und Unterführer. It is constructed out of a blue-grey wool, with a slate-grey center band and light-grey wool piping. Attached to the obverse is a die stamped, bronze based red and black enamel DRK eagle emblem along with a die stamped aluminum based and silver washed wreath and black painted steel, silvered aluminum and red wool multi piece cockade. The front also features a black lacquered visor peak with a crosshatched brown underside. To the sides are two peened on multi piece black painted steel side buttons that holding the patent finished chin cord. The interior clear moisture shield, 95% intact, over a tan plain weave cotton lining and a lacquered leather crazed sweat band. There is one hole to the interior lining right behind the DRK eagle revealing both prongs.
