NSKK Officer’s 3/M Collar Tab

Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps 3rd Sturm / Motorstandarte Kragenspiegel für Offiziere. It is constructed out of a tan lacquered buckram base that is covered in a glued-on black wool surrounded by a stitched-on triple twisted flatwire piping. The obverse has a pinned-on aluminum three piece “3 / M” (3rd Sturm / Motorstandarte) identifying cyphers. The reverse shows the buckram backing, to the center with holes where previous group cyphers would have been, that is surrounded by the folded over black wool covering, stitching and piping. It measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 2 3/4 inches tall.
