NSDAP Politischer Leiter “Amtswalter” Hoheitsabzeichen Lapel Pin. Worn by earliest leaders and officials of the NSDAP, while in civilian dress. The eagle is constructed out of a die struck nickel-silver base that has been silver washed and contains black enamel paint work. The obverse depicts a 1. Model German National Eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons. The fullback reverse has a soldered-on knurled stickpin. The face measures 7/16 of an inch wide by 5/16 of an inch tall. Smaller variant. The NSDAP Swastika Stickpin is a supporter stickpin.
