Standarte abzeichen der Regiment “General Göring”. Introduced on March 16-17th, 1940, this flag is one of a 20+ piece WHW series called: “The Victorious Flags and Standards of the German Armed Forces” (Die Siegreichen Fahnen und Standarten der Deutschen Wehrmacht). It is constructed out of an injection molded grey bakelite base that has been silver washed and green, white and black painted. The obverse depicts a General Goring Protection Police of Prussia Flag on a pole, with topper. The semi-hollow back reverse reads: “Regiment ‘General Göring’” and “4We”. It also has a horizontally melted-on steel pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures 1 1/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. Multiple variations to collect.
