SA Gruppe Westmark - District Competition Badge 1938
Abzeichen SA Wettkampftage 1938 der SA Gruppe Westmark. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been gold gilded. The obverse features an undressed man standing behind a large shield which reads: “Wettkampftage SA Gruppe Westmark 2.3.7.1938 Koblenz”, is all surrounded by an oak leaf wreath that is tied together at top, bottom and sides and is all underneath a 1927 pattern German national eagle perched on top. The hollow back reverse features horizontal, soldered, well working steel pin. The gold gilding and detail are wonderful. It measures 2 1/8 inches tall by 1 1/4 inches wide.
