Small NSDAP Banner
Small National/Partei Banner 1933-45. It is constructed out of a red dyed plain weave cotton base with a separately stitched on white dyed and black printed plain weave cotton roundel. The rectangular shaped obverse features a centrally placed black mobile swastika surrounded by a white roundel and red rectangular base. There is four inches of stitching repair to edge of the roundel. The reverse features a drawn in pattée style cross to the opposite of the roundel. The top, bottom and fly edges have been folded over and stitched together. The fly end has been folded over and stitched together. The hoist end has been folded over and stitched over a rope that runns its entire length, with two looped hanging ends to either side. It shows moting holes and soilage throughout. It measures 30 inches wide by 45 inches long.
