Model 1934 - Reichsarbeitsdiens Haumesser für Mannschaften und Unterführer. The matte blade on this one looks good. The acid etched “Arbeit adelt” motto is nicely executed. The fit and tip are both perfect. It rates Exc+. It has been sharpened and shows scratches to the cutting edge along with age grey and spotting throughout. It has likely been cleaned of the maker mark as well. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is looks good. It retains 70%+ paint coverage. There is oxidization spotting and spidering throughout. It remains completely dent free. The sheet metal based, nickel-silver plated and black burnished fittings provide wonderful detail, throughout the RAD logos and decorative interweaving top patterns. All four screws remain intact, one is aluminum. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect. The steel-based nickel-silver plated hilt looks good. It has minor oxidization spotting throughout. The stag horn grip plates have wonderfully aged, providing nice contrasting beige/brown colors. There are no cracks of chips and they remain tightly secured by two screws and spanner nuts. A fine example.
