Luftwaffe EM/NCO Visor Cap Eagle by J. Schl
2. Modell Luftwaffe Mützenadler by J. Schl. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed. The obverse depicts the 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle with outstretched wings clutching a mobile swastika in one of its talons. The semi-hollow back reverse is marked: “J. Schl” and retains both of its crimped-on aluminum prongs. It measures 2 5/8 inches long by 1 1/2 inches tall. A beautiful maker marked example.
