Pith Helmet Eagle Shield by R.K.
Pith Helmet Eagle Shield by R.K. - Rudolf Karneth & Sohn of Gablonz. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum alloy base that has been silver washed and black painted. The shield shaped obverse depicts a silvered national closed winged eagle clutching a mobile swastika within its talons, on a black pebbled background. The hollow back reverse is maker marked: “R.K.” and retains all three crimped aluminum prongs. It measures 1 3/8 inches wide by 1 11/16 inches tall.
