Bavarian Veteran’s Warrior Association Badge
Bayerischen Veteranen-Krieger- und Kampfgenossen-Bundes Mitgliedsabzeichen. German states awarded badges to long standing members of the veterans and warriors associations. It is a constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded and contains blue and white enamel paint work, pinned to a died rayon ribbon. The obverse features, from top to bottom: a Bavarian royal crown, above a banner which reads: “In Treue fest” and in flowing through a sheathed sword and blue and white shield, suspended from the trophy of arms is a black, white red and blue rayon ribbon. The left ribbon reads: “Mitgliedschaft des B.-V.-K.-u K. Bundes” (Bayerischen Veteranen-, Krieger- und Kampfgenossen-Bundes) and the right reads: “Veteranen- u. Krieger Verein Halfing.”. The reverse has a peened-on cruciform shaped plate, holding the ribbon, and a vertically placed well working pin assembly. It measures 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches tall. Collect all the states.
