Prussian Veteran’s Warrior Association Badge
Prussiascher Landeskriegerverband Mitgliedsabzeichen. German states awarded badges to long standing members of the veterans and warriors associations. It is a multipiece construction made out of a die struck/stamped nickel-silver/tombak base with burnishing, silvering and gold gilt along with enamel work and a rayon ribbon. The obverse features, from top to bottom: a silver wreathed Kyffhäuser monument and “25” on a shield, above a Prussian coat of arms on a black and white shield, above two suspended black and white rayon ribbons with two pinned on faux fringes. The left ribbon reads: “Prussiascher LandesKriegerverband”. The reverse has a pinned-on plate, holding the ribbon, that reads: “Ges. Gesch. Preussischer Landes Kriegerverband”. The top piece has a vertically soldered-on oval plate that holds a well working pin assembly. It measures 1 3/4 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches tall. Collect all the states.
