K98 Ammo Pouch by Curt Vogel 1940
Peronalized - Karabiner 98 Ammo Pouch by Liederwarenwerk Curt Vogel Cottbus 1940. It is constructed out of a multi-piece brown tanned pigskin leather that has been stitched and riveted together. It has three pockets, each with lid and strap. The interior features all three raw hide dividers. The rivets, prongs and d-ring are all aluminum based, the two prongs are steel. The reverse is maker marked: “Liederwarenwerk Curt Vogel Cottbus 1940”. The one strap is personalized reading: “Hrd Licka” and both sides are marked: “HA”. It measures 8 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches thick.
