NSDAP Armband
NSDAP Kampfbinde/Armbinde. The official pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all NSDAP uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a red wool base with a stitched-on three-piece ribbed rayon roundel. The obverse features a two-piece black mobile swastika, stitched to a white roundel that is stitched to a red wool base. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. The reverse has been stitched to size. Minor age toning. There are a few black threads to the top and bottom where it would have been stitched to a uniform. It measures 7 1/2 inches wide by 4 7/16 inches tall. We see similar construction armband with SS/RZM tags for SS overcoats.
