NSDAP Armband
NSDAP Kampfbinde. The official pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all NSDAP uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a red wool base with a stitched-on three-piece ribbed rayon roundel. The obverse features a two-piece black mobile swastika, stitched to a white roundel that is stitched to a red wool base. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. The reverse has been stitched to size. It shows areas of thinning to the wool, minor mothing spots and a soiled area to the roundel. It measures 9 3/16 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches tall. We see similar construction armband with SS/RZM tags for SS overcoats.
