Deutsche Wehrmacht Armband
“Deutsche Wehrmacht” Ärmelbinde. Introduced on March 12, 1937, with the Army Mobilization Order, the German Armed Forces Armband was designed for wear by non-uniformed personnel serving with the Armed Forces. It is constructed out of a yellow cotton base with a black cotton machine embroidered script. The obverse reads, in black Gothic style script: “Deutsche Wehrmacht” (German Armed Forces) stitched to a yellow base. The top and bottom have reinforced chain link stitching. The reverse has been stitched to size. It shows age soil. It measures 7 1/16 inches wide by 4 inches tall.
