NS-RKB Veterans Breast Eagle by R.K.
NS-RKB (Nationalsozialistischer Reichskriegerbund) Brustadler by R.K. - Rudolf A. Karneth & Sohne of Gablonz a.N. It is constructed out of an injection molded aluminum-alloy base that has been silver washed and contains black enamel work. The obverse depicts a Veterans eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika within its talons, with two crossed broad swords and a centrally placed Iron cross on its chest. The hollow back reverse is marked: “20 Ges. Gesch.” and maker marked: “R.K.”. It also shows a well working, crimped round wire catch, crimped ball hinge and a round wire pin. It measures 3 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. Textbook finish for these by R.K.
