Framed - Ehrenurkunde für Dienstpflicht der Jäger Infantry Regiment. Honor Award Certificate for Fulfilment of Active Duty in 1934 to 1935. The obverse features a water color photo of; two early enlisted army soldiers, from the chest up, in front of a flowing Imperial tri-color flag with an iron cross on it and a flowing Third Reich Flag, both on pole, which are above a battle scene with bi-planes, a Mark I tank solders running and operating an anti-tank gun. This scene is designer marked by “Hans Friedmann, München” (bottom, left). All of this is above a framed dedication in Gothic script which reads: “Der Dienstgrad Vorname Familienname” / Geb. am 25. 6. 1912 in … / hat vom 31. 10. 1934 bis 12. 10. 1935. / bei der 2 Jg Inf Regt. Bayreuth / In Ehren seine Verdienstpflicht erfüllen. Bayreuth (Ort) dem 12. 10. 1935”. The bottom is signed and stamped by the proper authorities. The very base reads: “Kunstverlag Andelfinger, München”. Minor fold marks and scuffs. Nicely framed. It measures 12 7/8 inches wide by 16 3/4 inches tall.
