Model 1935 – Generic-B Heer Dolch. The blade on this one looks excellent. It is unmarked as these later issue pieces are. The crossgrain is gorgeous, running the full length of the blade, and is easily visible as you shine it in the light. The fit is perfect as is the tip. The blade rates NM. It shows only minor spotting and the odd scratch throughout. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel sheet metal based, thick nickel-silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and oak leaf and acorn bands. It remains completely dent free and the original throat retaining screw continues to remain intact. It shows some wear areas throughout. The zinc-alloy based nickel-silver plated crossguard provides nice detail. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The plating on these has thinned. The orange trylon based grip on this one is looks excellent. Typical exposure to sun leaving the grip color two tones. It shows only one wee chip to the reverse top. Textbook late-war construction.
