Japanese Hinomaru Flag
Japan, WWII - Nisshōki (日章旗). Constructed out of a white and red silk fabric. The rectangular shaped obverse features a centrally placed red circle (representing the sun) on a white base. The reverse is the same. The edges have been folded over and stitched together. This has a tear to one corner, some edge frays abd stain. The red color is strong. It measures 30 inches long by 26 inches tall.
