2nd Model Navy Dagger by WKC

M1938 – 2nd Model Kreigsmarine Offizier Dolch für Marinebeamte by WKC (Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie.) of Solingen. The fouled anchor etched blade on this one is NM. The etch is very dark and now been cleaned like so many. other than some dots of stain near the guard it is bright and clean. It has stains and pitting. The stamped knights head "WKC" maker mark is correct. The red felt buffer pad remains. The brass based hammered scabbard looks great, especially with the hand enhancing. It remains dent-free but there is a small wave that you can see if you look at it from the side. It retains both of its original side throat retaining screws. The crossguard and pommel provide wonderful patina and detail to the anchor and proud eagle perched on top. The push button works well. The grip is chip and crack-free. Included is the correct cellon Navy portepee.
