A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/27 - Puma (Pumawerk Lauterjung & Sohn) of Solingen. The blade on this one looks wonderful except for some stain towards the tip. ! The crossgrain is just beautiful against the light, the tip and fit are both perfect and acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/27" (Pumawerk (Lauterjung & Sohn), Solingen) maker mark are crisp and beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc++. Nice! The steel based, brown enamel painted scabbard is just as good as the blade! It has 98% of its original paint is still intact and it remains completely dent free! It shows just some scratches to the reverse. The nickel plated scabbard fittings look excellent with 99% plating intact! The ball retains its original round shape and all four screws remain intact! The scabbard/crossguard fit is near perfect! The alloy based plated crossguards have retained 98% of their plating with a scratch to the upper reverse fitting. The brown hardwood grip has some pressure marks throughout but no chips or cracks. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed and sits perfectly in the grip. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A great example of an RZM SA!
