An umarked Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by WKC of Solingen. The plated blade on this one is has some age stain. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates a Exc+/Exc++. The large leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The generic steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands. The scabbard remains dent free and retains lots of factory lacquer. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel silver plated Tomahawk eagle crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All matching fittings. The chip and crack-free orange trylon grip is near perfect. Nice color contrast. A wonderful example with all matching patina from a Vet's family this week.!
