M40 Q64 Luftshutz Combat Helmet

Heavy one piece stamped construction with rolled edges and pressed vents. This helmet retains 95%+ of it's factory paint with some surface scratches. There are no dents. This has no decal. The interior of the shell is serialized "3N370" and Q646, indicating manufacture by F.W. Quist, G.m.b.H. Esslingen. The leather liner is ink stamped "57". It has all 10 tabs and a military style band. The drawstring is a post-war show lace. The chin strap remains undamaged.
