Winner of the Knights Cross and Oak leaves w Swords: Oberst Heinz-Georg Lemm was I highly decorated participant in the Battle of the Ardennes. He went on to serve as a Generalleutnant in the Bundeswehr. He was awarded the Great Cross of Merit with Star and the Legion of Merit and retired in 1979. After this he became honorary president (Ehrenpräsident) of the Association of Knight's Cross Recipients. 2 Black and white photos with original signatures. The photo w the margins is pre-1945 the 2nd is post-war. They measure approximately 4 1/8 inches wide by 5 13/16 inches tall.
