Police DD Square Dip Helmet by Edelstahl
Here we have a standard light weight stamped sheet steel square dip M34 style Fire Police Helmet. It continues to retain about 98%+ of its original black paint with minor scratches and spotting throughout. The left side of the helmet has a Police decal that is 99% complete, the matching the swas. decal is about 90%. The helmet has standard "salt and pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 civic style light tan leather liner. It has ventilation perforations to the front forehead section. There are two natural cork spacers between the liner and the helmet shell. The liner has original leather tabs for attaching the protective leather neck guard intact. The top pad is loose. Chinstrap is repaired and the leather straps do not match. There is no size markings but would guess, 60 or 62, the helmet is stamped, Edelstahl.
