An early M1937 Fliegerdolch by Alcoso of Solingen. The bright blade is stone mint. The early acid etched maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! It has a perfect fit. All the crossgrain remains. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The original scabbard is steel based and has aluminum bands matching the crossguard. The scabbard still depicts good details despite honest wear, It remains completely dent free and the single screw remains intact! The aluminum based Luftwaffe eagle crossguard has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side embossed oak leaves and acorns. The pommel and steel ferrule look awesome with those proud oak leaves and acorns. The early chip and crack-free trylon grip has aged to a deep orange as UV and time has worked its' magic. The early brass springy wire remains tightly intact. A solid piece! Included is a nice set of tabbed deluxe hangers!
