A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/10 1938 (J.A. Henckels of Solingen) direct from the Vet's family. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto is stunning. The "RZM M7/10 maker mark with the 2nd Variation double man Henckels logo are both crisply executed. For those of you who like to learn here is the first variation. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point! All of crossgrain remain visible. The blade rates Mint! The dark brown scabbard has good paint with a small scratches. The nickel plated steel based fittings have 99% plating intact. The ball is perfect. All four screws remain intact! The nickel plated zinc based crossguards suffer some light bubbling. The brown hardwood grip has a large flake out of the top obverse crossguard fit that I toned down a bit with some shoe polish. Other than that, no oher damage. The nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is damage free and retains 100% of its enamel. Nope not perfect. Were it not for the flake I would rate this a near mint dagger.
