2nd Model Luftwaffe by Fridericus
A M1937 Fliegerdolch by the famous distributor Fridericus of Solingen. The blade on this one is very clean, really very nice. Certainly NM. As with most Fridericus product this one employs generic fittings for their hilt. Nice gilt remains to the pommel. The dent-free generic scabbard is an airplane grey example with excellent detail. It shows honest period wear. The throat is secured by two unturned screws. The crossguard and pommel are have been chemically darkened. This really sets off the white celluloid grip. The grip is perfect. The twisted springy brass wire wrap remains nice and tight.
