Extra-Seitengewehr 98K mit Seitengewehrtasche. A nice extra cost feature is stag grips! The bright plated 250mm Eickhorn over-the-shoulder stamped blade. It's in excellent condition with just normal light wear and the odd scuff. The blade rates NM. There are just light runner marks but that's it. The leather buffer pad remains. The black enamel painted scabbard has a small dent 8" north of the obverse ball. 90% of the original paint remains intact. The original throat retaining screw remains intact and unturned. The scabbard fits the hilt perfectly! The nickel-plated alloy hilt has good plating and a fully functioning mortise button. The multi-toned Ersatz stag grips plates are well fit and secured with 2 steel rivets. They are these plates are wood based and hand carved to resemble horn,(Ersatz, a stag substitute), in near perfect condition with no cracks or chips anywhere. Included is a nice supple well marked K98 frog that has been there forever. Included is a Luftwaffe portepee.
