Textbook later Model 1935 - Wehrmacht Heer Dolch by Tiger of Solingen. The blade on this one has age and fingerprint stain. The stamped “Tiger Solingen” maker mark is crisp and beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates an easy Exc. The leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based, silver washed scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The scabbard remains dent free. The original throat retaining screws remains intact. The silver washed crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All of the fittings are alloy based matching and have the exact same patina. The white celluloid over plaster grip has some soil to the crevices' but no chips or cracks. I leave for you to clean if you so desire. Included is a set of deluxe Army hangers in good condition.
