Here's a good example out of a great collection that we recently acquired. The blade on this one rates Exc+. It has some bluing loss , stain and age. It hasn't been messed with as so many of these are. The blade is stamped "S/184G" to the reverse indicating Jos Corts manufacturer. It is also stamped "5444 e" to the obverse matching the scabbard. The scabbard has oxidizing and a dent to the reverse. The hilt is oxidized. The brown hardwood grip plates are in great shape! A few bumps and scratches but no chips or splits. They also have a perfect fit, being tightly secured by two rivets/spanner nuts. This piece is profusely inspection stamped as one would expect. This one also comes with a maker marked frog, sorry I can't make it out. One of the aluminum rivets has partly pulled through. The upper strap is ripped through on one side. It is tightly secured with all of the stitching intact.
