Luftwaffe Forestry Bayonet
Forstbeamte Seitengewehr Nice example here. It has a solid fit and perfect tip! The "Waffen Loesche Berlin" distributor mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. with some stain. Most crossgrain remains. There is some in/out marks and the odd scratch. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard looks great! It retains 97% paint coverage and remains completely dent free! It has some age crazing. The ball is perfectly round and it continues to hold its original throat retaining screw. The steel plated oval crossguard and hilt look great! The horn grip plates are one of the best features of this piece in my opinion. They are multi-tone and are in wonderful condition! No cracks, chips or splits. They are tightly secured by three tombac screws. So some needlessly worry that some of these are not "Ch. A. W." marked, rest easy these are fine not all were marked.
