M34 Fire Police Helmet

Here we have a standard lightweight stamped sheet steel M34 style Fire Police Helmet - No Decals. It continues to retain about 95%+ of its period repainted black paint with wear several scrapes throughout. I can not find any dents. There are no decals. The helmet has std "salt and pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. The interior is maker marked, sorry I do not know that mark. All four of the flat headed liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 civic style tan leather liner with a top pad. All four of the steel band spacers between the liner and the helmet shell are still intact. The liner has 9 original leather "fingers intact as well as a post-war drawstring. Chinstrap is intact and complete but well worn. I see 56 size marking ink stamped to the liner.
