Luftwaffe Flight Major Shoulder Boards

Slip-on Type – Luftwaffe Major Flight Schulterstücke. They are constructed out of a cardboard base with an internal wire stiffener that are covered in a yellow (Flight Personnel) wool waffenfarbe, underneath a double-dual interwoven silver/aluminum Russian braid. The reverse features the stitched on slip-on strap with button hole. There is evidence of a pip (Obverstleutnant) being attached to both at some point. They each measure 1 ½ inches wide by 4 1/8 inches long.
