Army Style - Waffen-SS Sommerjackett für einen SS- Hauptsturmführer der Medical im SS-Leibstandarte “Adolf Hitler”. Constructed out of a tailor-made twill weave cotton fabric. It features a five-button front with four scalloped and pleated pockets along with French cuffs. All of the pebbled silvered buttons are removable and marked: “Extre Fein” marked. The collar has two brass hook and eye closures. There is a lower vertical vented rear slit. There are loops on the left breast for combat awards (The KVK1 and GAB are not included). Above the left breast pocket are loops for a small ribbon bar (3pc ribbon bar is not included). Insignia consists of piped runic and rank tabs, a pair of slip-on medical shoulder boards each have two gold and two zinc (Hauptsturmführer promotion) pips with the snake and staff insignia on cornflower blue backings, a flatwire officer sleeve eagle and a 2nd pattern SS-Leibstandarte “Adolf Hitler” Cuff Title (well worn). The interior features a twill weave satin fabric to the top back portion and a thin lining to the inside arms. The tunic shows a modest amount of even wear, obvious sweat staining to the top of the collar. There is no name or tailor tags. Shoulder to shoulder is 39cm, a sleeve length of 60cm and a 64cm spine length. All original but pieced together. Previously sold by the “Der Gauleiter” magazine on November 18, 1993.
