Luftwaffe Signals Leutnant Collar Tabs

Luftwaffe - Paar Kragenspiegel für einen Leutnant der Luftnachrichten. They are constructed out of a lacquered tan buckram base that is covered in a brown stitched/glued on wool with hand embroidered rolled and crunched silver/aluminum flatwire threads and is piped in twisted silver/aluminum flatwire. The obverse features a Luftwaffe gull above an oak leaf and acorn cluster, which lies on a brown backing and is surrounded by a flatwire twisted rope. The reverse shows the lacquered buckram base, to the center, that is surrounded by the folded over brown wool covering, brown stitching and is surrounded by that same flatwire twisted rope, with the ends tied to the corner. They each measure 1 ¾ inches wide by 2 ½ inches tall.
