SS Visor Cap Eagle by Assmann
SS-Schirmmütze Adler by SS RZM 155/42 (1942) - F. W. Assmann & Sohne of Lüdenscheid. Introduced February 1936. It is constructed out of an injection molded zinc-alloy base that has been silver washed and lacquered. The obverse features a left facing SS eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed mobile swastika in its talons. The hollow back reverse is maker marked: “SS RZM 155/42” and features three soldered-on tombak round wire prongs. It measures 2 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches tall.
