Ärmelabzeichen HJ u. DJ Bannfahnenträger. Instituted July 22, 1938, the Flag Bearers Sleeve Insignia was authorized for wear at all times by the flag bearer of the Bann. Come October 21, 1938, it was also authorized for wear by the bearers of the DJ-Fähnlien flag. Worn on the upper right sleeve. It is constructed out of machine embroidered black, white and red thread to a black rayon backing. The obverse features a Hitler Youth eagle clutching a HJ diamond emblem, surrounded by a shield, on a black rectangular backing. The edges have reenforced chain like stitching. It measures 2 15/16 inche s wide by 3 15/16 inches tall. Unissued.
