Hitler Youth Armband
HitlerJunge Kampfbinde. Introduced in 1933, this pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all Hitler Youth uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a multi-piece died cotton base that has been stitched together. The obverse features a separately applied and centrally placed HJ emblem, which consists of a white diamond and a black mobile swastika, which is in front of a stitched on white horizontal line and all lies on a red cotton backing. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. The back has been stitched together to size. Age worn. Ironed. It measures 6 3/4 inches wide by 4 3/16 inches tall. Purchased from the veteran’s family.
