Kreigsmarine Eichenlaubkranz mit Korkade für Offiziere Schirmmütze. It is constructed out of a hand embroidered rolled and twisted gold bullion, silver aluminum flatwire, black rayon and red wool stitched to a navy-blue wool backing covering interior padding to a white cotton backing. The obverse features a cockade surrounded by an oak leaf and acorn wreath on a blue background. The reverse reveals the white cotton backing with stitching. It measures 2 7/8 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall. Beautiful craftsmanship.
